The time is here.

The time is here.  We off on Friday to Fort Lauderdale and then fly to the DR on Saturday.  As you can see, the kids never got around to putting up their pictures but I will try to blog on a regular basis and even get them to add things.  I will also try to add some pictures as we go along.  Keep us in your prayers.

In less than a month!

Final preparations are underway. This time next month we'll be hard at work in the Dominican Republic. Please pray for our youth and their families, the leaders, and the folks at Mission Possible as we seek to do God's will through this project.

Watch for the kids to publish their photos and bios and learn what we will be doing in the DR.

That previous post was supposed to end strange place. Our trip is planned from June 21-July 1. Please continue to pray for our youth and the adults who are so fortunate to accompany them.

Getting prepared

The team will meet on Sunday so be prepared to meet eleven awesome teenagers who love the Lord and are ready to serve Him in a strange.

Welcome to a new blog.  I am so excited about my opportunity to serve God and serve others but accompanying the youth of Sea Island Presbyterian Church to the Dominican Republic for a mission trip. The kids and other members of the team will be posting and introducing themselves in the next few weeks and then we will post while on our trip.
